提案/Suggestion
The app should read the system settings on the phone before displaying date formats. It is already able to do that with the language in which the app is displayed (Settings, Language, Use Device Settings), so this should also be extended to date formats, number formats, currency formats, and so on. But primarily date formats. And since the mechanism to do this is already set up for the system language, it would be trivial to extend it to date formats, etc.
It is kind of bizarre and slightly annoying to have US date formats - medium-sized unit, followed by smallest unit, followed by largest unit - forced upon users in territories that actually use logical date sequencing (smallest unit to largest in Europe, largest to smallest in Japan).
Take the current banner message - MH Now Halloween from 10/21/2024 to 10/31/2024 - players that are accustomed to logical date formats have to stop and think “OK, well, there aren’t 21 or 31 months in the year, so this must be US date format, even though the US is thousands of kilometres away”.
It really wouldn’t be hard to extend the existing mechanism that reads the system language to include local date formats and other such localisations.
現状/Current Status
Dates in announcements and banner messages are listed in US date format, regardless of what date format is used in the country or on the phone
