Driftsmelt will not reroll existing skill on the same slot.
If there are two slots the same skill can be rolled twice on both slots, but not duplicates on one slot.
This guarantees the skill can be rolled after 10+ tries.
It is impossible to get the skill I wanted, and super annoying to have the same skill driftsmelt more than once.
Making it not possible to roll for the same skill again means that you also give up the possibility of rolling for better bonus stats for that one skill.
It is also not impossible to get the skill you want. It’s just a chance that’s above 0% and below 100%, and technically it has a better chance than getting R6 from an appropriate broken part.
What if i want two of the same skill on armor piece with two slots?
With rng it’s possible to never get a skill, and here is math
Let’s say all 21 skill have the same possibilities to roll so each skill has ~5% possibility to show up.
At 60 tries, the possibility of NOT getting that one skill is 0.95 ^60= 0.046, slightly less than the possiblity of rolling that one skill at first try.
