Weapon selection needs refinement. When I select to hunt a monster, and I click the gear icon, I should not be shown all gear by default. I should only be shown gear I own. Further, by default it should show weapons with DPS priority, taking into account monster weaknesses. In a game where this is a critical component it is extremely inconvenient to navigate a slow and long menu with unoptimized UI and filter system. Often I opt to just leave one weapon equipped because I do not want to interact with the gear menu. Similarly, something should exist for armor. But the weapons is a critical system that needs help to make it easier to interact with.
現状/Current Status
At current, clicking the gear tab anywhere in the game brings you to the same screen - all gear grouped by weapon type, even items you have not crafted and cannot craft. There is a filter system that is clunky to use but the menus are slow to move through because of how many weapons are on screen by default that I do not care to see.
