I tried to change the Urgent Quest difficulty from 9★ to 8★, but the option to lower Urgent Quest difficulty has disappeared from Settings, so I can’t lower it.
I was able to do it until last season, so it’s probably a bug.
What a pain.
Looks like they changed it so that if you lower the monster spawn level from where you select the investigation list in the top left, the story quests go down too.

Regarding this matter, we checked with the team in charge and were informed that this is a specification change implemented alongside the feature that allows you to adjust the strength of monsters appearing in the field.
To use the feature that allows you to adjust monster strength, you must have unlocked ★7 or higher monsters.

Does this mean we’ll never be able to set the field to 10 and quests to 9 like before?
I think this is a massive downgrade.
