When playing the game when my mobile is heated. Whether from quick charge or playing the game too long. The frames of my character attacking slows down, whilst the timer keeps going at a normal speed. This makes it that beating monsters becomes way harder when you dont have as many attacks to throw as you normally do.

We’re sorry to hear about the performance issue you are experiencing. If you haven’t already, please follow the steps provided in our Troubleshooting Guide to see if that helps:

You may also follow the below steps to see how it goes:

・Restart your device
・Reinstall the app
・Close apps running in the background
・Set the app’s graphics quality to ‘Low’ from settings
・Download all assets from settings
・Update your device’s OS
・(If the device is hot) Take a break from playing to cool down the device

Moreover, performance may also degrade if the device’s battery is deteriorating. Replacing the battery can improve this issue, so please contact your device manufacturer’s official website for more details.

Thank you for your understanding.

Its not entirely about your mobile device, most of it is related to their server response time

the timer is link to local device where everyting else are linked to the server (Even if you single hunt a monster, all the monsters attack pattern, your hitting data, all sending in and out to their server)

that causing a huge amount of in/out data flow so that slow down everything expect the timer, some time even causing your last hit fail because the server receieve your data after your local timer finish

this problem has been found in the v72.1 but they never managed to fix it, if you have been playing long sword or SNS from the very beginning of the game like I do, you will aware that

Actually, it is about the device.

The timer always runs in real-time, regardless of the frame rate or performance of the device.

I know at least one player in my side of the community who plays the game on probably the bare minimum spec supported by the game, and while we both made a very similar number of charge lv. 4 bow shots across 75s, I had time to fire 2 SPs while he had none. I can play the game smoothly on my phone. That’s the difference between a device that runs the game at a poorer performance than a device that runs the game at a better performance. If he tries to record his hunts, it’d be even worse.

Despite that, that player still managed to complete high-difficulty hunts while under this handicap. I would love to watch his hunts if he had a high-performance device to play the game with.

Unfortunately, the only workaround is to get a better phone. The time cannot slow down just because of one’s device performance in a networked game as timing is crucial in keeping information synced between all parties, and you’re right about this situation even for solo hunts because the server need to register the player’s input and exchange data between the server and the client device.
