Retaliation contains the word “parata” in it. Even if we may call it that way, the right word to differenciate it from the real “parata” (the one you do with shields) should be “contrattacco” (“counterattack”).
Because it shares the same word of the Reflex skill, for this it would be hard to understand the real meaning of Retaliation and Reflex, or the difference at all.

Screenshots in italian of both skills, Reflex (Riflesso) and Retaliation (Ritorsione) that show the word “parata”, while one means parry/block (Reflex - Riflesso), the other means counterattack (Retaliation - Ritorsione), but they both say “parry/block” in italian (parata).
