Charge Master does not seem to apply to the SP for Greatsword (True Charged Slash) despite the SP being implied to be a charged attack in other sources such as the “Balloon Charge” Skill - “Whenever you charge up an attack/Special Skill to the max, your weapon will expand, increasing damage.”

Either Charge Master should be “fixed” to allow it to apply to Greatsword SP (it should), or the language on skills such as “Balloon Charge” to make it clearer that the SP is seperate from a charged attack.
I agree with the skill seemingly being bugged based on it’s skill description and the description of previous skills for GS (like the mentioned Balloon Charger). This bug is incredibly unfortunate as I’ve already had other players message me about having spent money to purchase instant smelt items to try and unlock the skill quickly for their Greatsword set. I would like this skill to be fixed to properly apply to the GS Special, or at the very least having the wording changed on skill descriptions such as Balloon Charger to make it clear that the Special attack is not a Charged Attack but is still boosted by that ability.

We’ve reviewed this with the development team and confirmed it is intended that Charge Master skill doesn’t apply to the Special Skill of Great Sword. However, we’ll share your message with our team as feedback for future consideration.
If you intend for this skill to be used by greatsword players you should at the very least have the SP be affected by charge master. Greatsword is a weapon that has a large portion of its damage come from the use of SP and by not having it count you make the skill more or less obsolete before it’s even a week old to much better options like aggressive dodger. This event was advertised as a greatsword and bow event but realistically only bow truly benefits in this event as the average greatsword build doesn’t even use focus.
