現状/Current Status
Currently, it is difficult to tell where the nearest Outbreak because tapping on the Outbreak icon shifts the map quickly to the Outbreak and doesn’t allow you to tap on the nearby large gathering points to get an idea of where this Outbreak is at. The worst is when there are no other defining features nearby on the map to tell the user where the Outbreak is at, and it is a chore to attempt to scroll back to where you are even if you managed to catch the motion of movement when the map shifts to focus on the Outbreak point, especially when the Outbreak is more than 2 grids away from you.
The physical size of the grid gets larger as one gets nearer to the Equator, so this may have a different degree of negative impact on players in different regions of Earth.
提案/Suggestion
When on the normal and the Wide View map, show an arrow (e.g. a simply triangle arrow head of the same colour scheme as the Outbreak icon) on the outside of the Access Circle to indicate where the nearest Outbreak is at.
Additionally, show an arrow to point to the nearest Outbreak that a hunter has signed up for.
So, when a hunter has signed up for at least an Outbreak, they should see up to two arrows:
- The nearest one that they have signed up for, and
- The nearest one that they did not sign up for if they are not signed up for it.
Effectively:
- If a hunter has signed up for an Outbreak but there is another Outbreak that is nearer to them but they did not sign up for it, they should see two arrows, each pointing to the corresponding Outbreak point. The arrows should be differentiated so that it is clear to the user which one is the one that they have signed up for.
- If a hunter has signed up for an Outbreak and that Outbreak is also the nearest to them, they should see just one arrow.
It will be great if a distance can be appended to the arrow so as to give an idea on how far the Outbreak is from the user.
- This distance indicator should be masked/hidden when Streamer Mode is activated.
