When materials needed for upgrading wishlisted equipment are satisfied, a pop-up appears on the screen notifying the player that they can upgrade equipment. I think the player should be able to tap on that notification, and it will take them directly to the equipment they are able to upgrade.
現状/Current Status
There are hundreds of weapons and armors in the game by now. For someone who has all of them wishlisted it can take a very long time to find something in particular every single time the “materials necessary to upgrade wishlisted equipment” message pops up.

That notification appears when you have numerous items that can be upgraded. How would the logic decide which equipment to jump to? You can only jump to one of them, not all of them.
Wouldn’t it better to simply add a filter option to filter for equipment that can be upgraded with current materials in item box (not simply equipment that are not fully upgraded) so we don’t have to scroll through to find them in the first place?

You are entirely correct. However, that request has been made and seemingly ignored, so I suggested this as an alternative. A “filter to only upgradable equipment” would be a huge benefit to myself, and presumably others as well.
Some requests that seem to make sense and ought to be practical for the majority of players haven’t been adopted since being suggested from the early days on the previous forum… I’m not sure what’s going on behind the scenes, but I guess that’s “not within the plans” at the moment

Agreed. And others are given no response whatsoever but are implemented months or years after the situation which created their relevance come up. This is one particular issue that has the simplest fix, but the problem gets worse and worse the longer it is neglected.

Personally, I use the favourites differently for weapons and armour.
For weapons, favourites are all the weapons that I will use (either for main work or for clearing dailies). I forge select weapons only.
For armour, my favourites are only for the equipment that I want to upgrade. Once I hit a certain target upgrade level, I’ll unfavourite them, since there’s already loadouts for me to keep track of the things I use and I won’t change my loadout pieces individually.
So, the ability to filter for upgradeable equipment has little value to me, but I think this filter makes very much sense for those who use the favourite function differently from me.
