Carry over walking route between devices

I mainly play on my tablet because my phone can barely run the game. I do run the game on my phone when I go on walks, but I can only gather, not hunt because my phone cannot handle the game’s 3d graphics. Today I noticed every monster I passed on my walk could be tapped to fight, but when I opened the game on my tablet, the game did not know I had walked past those monsters so I could not fight them.
