Currently, when an event’s exchange hub expires, all unspent event exchange huh tokens are permanently lost without a way to use them, unlike the ability to ask for doubling/tripling hunt rewards via In-game Support. This can lead to unnecessary frustration because, yes we may have an extra week to use the tokens, but no we don’t always get to pay attention to every little detail in the game, especially during periods where multiple events overlap, such as the case for the 2.5 Anniversary event and the Season 9 kick-off event.
The constant grab for attention on the field map overshadowed the looming expiry of exchange hubs.
That’s how your packed lunch gets forgotten at the back of the fridge, blocked by the fresh vegetables you just bought from the market.

Without other recourse, at least give us an ability to convert the lost event tokens into a Seasonal Exchange Hub token for use in a Seasonal Exchange Hub that lasts for the entire season, and refreshes only at the beginning of a new season.
The items exchangeable in the Seasonal Exchange Hub should include mundane items that we often require in large quantities, such as the gathering point materials and small monster materials, which the event exchange hub may sometimes not have enough of.
The only way to get tokens is by having unspent event exchange hub tokens when the event exchange hub expires, and the tokens are converted on a 1:1 basis. May also consider awarding Seasonal Exchange Hub tokens with the attainment of Season Tiers or Daily Quests.
Some exchange hubs with very different exchange rates may be exempted from the conversion, or be converted at a different rate from the usual event exchange hubs to account for the standardised difference in the amount of tokens that can be earned/used, or to emphasise that some exchange hubs are exclusive and thus their tokens cannot be converted to the seasonal pool.
Seasonal tokens can only be spent in the season they are earned, giving us a much longer period of redemption should we have to be absent from the game for whatever reason (e.g. going for a work trip in a region on Earth where the game is unsupported or there is no Internet connectivity or we simply have no time to use the phone for entertainment).
Many games have such a system in place to give players a way to use their earned limited-time resources so that they can still use the tokens for something and not entirely let it go to waste.
