I’ve already seen horror stories of people leaving HATs mid fight because of some…. weird desire to see other people suffer? I can’t understand it at all. I think @NianticNY needs to put something in place to prevent this - this is blatant griefing and cannot be condoned. Anyone who does such a thing should be penalized, most likely by not letting them join group hunts for a certain period of time (an hour?).
All these people who are so upset about “not being able clear 9 star zinogre with random players” need to keep in mind that if they couldn’t do it with randoms then they couldn’t do it by themselves either. Even if you got paired with 3 hunters using grade 1 equipment, the worst thing that could possibly happen is that you time out on the quest and go back in. It’s not like having other players show up limits the number of attempts you have or forces you to play worse. If you play perfectly and dodge everything, you have nothing to worry about - just do the hunt, help lower level people learn the fight, and when time runs out hopefully you get a team with better gear. Which brings up a really fun point: all these people who are complaining are then complaining because they’re not good enough to not get hit for a whole 75 seconds.
Objection for hiding HR. In order to encourage high HR player to play with lower HR player, please implement bonus mechanism instead… Hiding HR simply makes MHNow a solo game, probably except some high difficulty HATs.
You can do it like the master mode of the original games, if you reach level 100 HR, the 8-9 stars can appear in the matchmaking, making the progress to advance more natural, making it a little fair and in terms of hiding the HR, I think it is wrong because it is something more essential in the Monster Hunter saga to see the HR of your teammates
I can’t figure out why someone don’t try to improve by themself and waiting for someone carry them.
If someone can finish very strong monster in time that’s mean there’ s the way to achieve it and anyone can do it too. So I will do hard practise and farm to be stronger.
I’m so ashamed if I contribute few percents to the party. I don’t want to take advantage on other both in game and IRL.
I’m feeling myself to be a better man.
Helping other is good for player who play hard but not for all. Is it fair for carry?
I don’t mind if someone might always need higher rank to help them but not for me.
Stand on my legs
Everyone start from ground, Heroes too.
I support HR637 idea that HAT matchmaking should be set to ± 50HR.
Always got deadweight low rank members in high rank HAT make me so sick
