Does anybody know what the best weapon type is? I feel like 6stars are very easy but the 4stars are impossible. I feel like i do very little damage with lvl 10 gear

After all, weapon types have monsters they match up well or poorly against…
There’s pretty much never a “if you use this weapon, you’ll definitely be strong!” in Monster Hunter, and if someone is strong despite only using one weapon type, that just means the player is strong, not the weapon!
I’d recommend whatever weapon you find easiest to use.
Or to take it a step further, it might also be worth rethinking your skill build.
