My special gauge stopped filling up in increments when attacking monsters. You can see in the pic

No didnt work . I cleared my cache, Uninstaller and reinstalled and its still the same.

Could it be that you have equipped Nergigante armor and activated the skill “Nergigante Avidity”?
This skill’s details are as shown in the image.

There is a possibility that the Nergigante Avidity skill is equipped. Please note that this skill will not let you to fill the Special Guage when attacking.
