Adding infrequent temporary structures (lasting 60 min) which have certain bonus effects when being within it’s boundaries.
Like:
Temple: Reduced healing time
Elemental Shrine: Attack rate of shrine element increased
Friendly Shrine: Friends can be invited to hunts of nearby or marked monsters
Armoury: Zenny cost of upgrade reduced
Tower: Map view increased
Cave: Nest of small monsters

Currently there are only harvesting points besides monsters

Ooh this sounds interesting. Pop-up bonus nodes.

Do you think these would be visible to all players, like large nodes, but each player can only benefit from the node once while the nodes stand?

I think having the nodes visible to all players would be more interesting, because we can then call out such bonus nodes in the local community social channels and raise the level of activity for the quieter neighbourhoods.

Perhaps can make it so that the bonus nodes confer a time-limited bonus that will be used for the next hunt within the time limit (e.g. increased attack bonus for the next hunt within 15 minutes) or improved HP regen for the next 15 minutes. This way, it won’t be OP but players can still leverage on these bonuses in a strategic way, such as tapping on the bonus node before engaging a high-strength monster.

To prevent overlapping of multiple bonuses that can end up causing battles to be too easy, there shouldn’t be too many bonus nodes within close proximity of each other (e.g. at most one every grid, each grid have a low chance of a bonus node occurring every x hours, maybe can peg it to the monster respawn timing), so that players would use these bonus nodes strategically (e.g. breaking through a specific bottleneck, such as an urgent quest) rather than relying on them to breeze through their routine hunts.

These bonuses probably shouldn’t apply in hunts that are specifically designed to be difficult, such as Elder Dragon Interceptions, so that the players would still be adequately tested for their skills and equipment in such challenging hunts.

Last but not least, these bonus nodes shouldn’t depend on the existing large nodes or wayspots as not everywhere in the world has an even distribution of the wayspots.
