### 提案/Suggestion Add an option for a hunter to mute emotes/stamps ### 現状/Current Status Hunters are using emotes/stamps on their own accord without considering how it may affect other hunters. Context (TLDR rant warning 😅): My first encounter to an emote spammer is a greatsword hunter. I can still remember his ign actually. It’s somewhat like ArthurJr. It was my first few weeks of playing and I was actually fully F2P with a focus GS build as I was a survivability hunter ever since. Never built a pure offense build in my entire MH journey. And this guy was rocking a Glavenus Helm and Mail at least is what I immediately noticed. So he probably built a strong damage output GS and there I was with focus pukei helm and mail. The dude then spammed the “Good” emote with the thumbs up as if my build was end game or something and he might have been sarcastic. So I was like he looked cool but WTH was the “Good” spamming for. The latter sarcasm was my assumption and I always wonder what is going through these people’s head with the emotes. So yeah I think that was the time I found the Glavenus Helm and was mindblown of what I could build for my GS and it was Skybound Scalestorm at the time so that season pass with Glavenus mats got me thinking. And the rest was history that I became P2W now not that I’m winning though. So I mentioned before that I got boosted through hunt-a-thons for the RB Glavenus. And lemme tell u I think I was blacklisted by these hunters as an anchor who wanted to be carried in hunts. Nowadays, people would randomly use the emote with sort of like a “Lemme help u” or “Lemme give u a hand” gesture with a lady in the middle reaching her hand out downwards and 2 palicoes at the side. That’s a good way of interpreting this emote. But I’m starting to think some are using it to mean “Lemme carry you” when I’m in the same lobby or at the end after slaying the monster. In the first few weeks of people using that emote when I’m around, I was always like “yeah ok you guys carried me with the RB Glavenus and some Seregios” but who knows what they really meant. But nowadays, I would emote back with the “Good” thumbs up emote as if saying “Yeah you’re very good and very strong hope you are happy with your life” in a very sarcastic way. Especially now that I’m patiently grinding 8​⭐ and making sure my elemental DB builds are above par with 9​⭐ before climbing up that tier, it’s somewhat unfair to still treat me like I’m gonna get carried again. Like all those days, week, months especially when you guys helped me slay 10​⭐, did u really think I didn’t improve all those times? Like this is the same reason I cut off my friends IRL. I always appreciate them teaching me ways on how to be a mature person. But there was a time that I had to be around two other friend groups throughout the years so they wouldn’t really see my improvements personally. And early this year was the time I felt I should call it quits already. They still treat me the same immature person as if I never listened to them and never improved my bad traits. So, the same is happening with these hunters here. I built a 4k+ damage output (without target monster) in mhn.quest for my Barioth DB and it has been useful ever since I maxed out Vital Ice. Just lacking a weakness exploit driftsmelt to further improve the build. It was smooth sailing farming RB Diablos ever since. I think I only entered one RB Diablos HAT ever cuz it happened to spawn at the supermarket where I buy my groceries after slaying some monsters that I passed along the way there. I was pretty much soloing all RB Diablos and Diablos to upgrade my Diablos GS to G9. And God dang one hunter used the emote “It’s ok” as if telling me that “it is okay to seek help if u can’t hunt it urself” when I requested a friend link with an 8​⭐ RB Diablos from my marked monsters thru palico paintball. Don’t get me wrong. I appreciate those type of hunters using the “it’s ok” emote. At least they’re not using the “Lemme carry u” emote 😅. But what has Monster Hunter become these days. I got to bond with my brother with it. Got to bond with my friends with it that I created a new MHWorld account to make the experience real and not me carrying them allthroughout so then I got to try Bow and Gunlance with it since I’m a GS and DB main. I fell in love with Monster Hunter because of the coop side of it. Like we are helping each other slay monsters. But this game has probably gone so competitive throughout the years that not keeping up is like getting cancelled IRL 😅. And recently I joined a 9​⭐ Astalos via Friend Link. This guy with the ign Daydream used that “Lemme carry u” emote even tried to spam maybe two times so I spammed “Good” as well. So as sad as to not being able “Thank u” emote those hunters that helped me in a fair manner, it’s gone to a point where emotes might be being used as Trash Talk. I played Dota 2 and we can hide global chat or mute our teammates for fear of Trash Talkers lingering around. Played MLBB and it has mute feature as well. Played Clash Royale and it has mute feature too. All of which are “competitive” games where players may rage at everyone when they lose. If this was me in the past, I’d do also rage with the “Lemme carry u” emote probably. But yeah now I just wonder what is going through their head and I’d usually assume negatively if something bad happened like fainting but recovering at the cost of first-aid meds. So sadly this game might also need the same mute option for the peace of mind of players like me who just wanna grind for my dream GS build. P.S.: Dw hunters. I might be greeding the 9​⭐ Astalos so I can get a Rarity 6 mat and make my Astalos Coil ready to upgrade for G8. So I won’t join any 9​⭐ anymore given I haven’t unlocked it yet and haven’t consistently soloed them yet. But imma join the 8​⭐ elder dragons still 😅. I will still invite friends for 8​⭐ RB monsters only when it is marked with Palico Paintballs. Like it’s random and only to get friend link tokens. Also, getting the coveted 1.6M total damage in the current Base Defense with the cool waist layered equipment is side-tracking me on my dream GS build. But I might not be able to get that though because the total damage output seem to have changed where it is calculated only on the top 5 weapons. It seems fair though so I wouldn’t complain. Like maximize damage output on your top 5 weapons. So just getting about 1M is fine with me to get all Armor Refining Parts in exchange hub which is definitely achievable. P.S. #2: Anotha one. “Menma” used the “Lemme carry u” emote after I joined an 8​⭐ RB Mizutsune. The audacity to even added me as a friend still. Maybe to check my build stats or something. So yeah thanks for carrying me with the one hunt bro. Reply in the comments if you still want the smoke. This build is mid-tier I suppose and will probably struggle in 9​⭐ monsters (resisted the urge to continue RB Mizutsune HAT up to 9​⭐ and only hunted until 8​⭐). Decided to pivot from Spiral Slash to Feral Demon Mode style to maximize the damage output builds that I prefer. ---

[Summary] I obviously can’t know what other players are thinking when they use stamps, but I tend to sometimes interpret them negatively. That’s why I’d like to have a feature that allows me to hide other players’ stamps. ---
