Explain why Niantic only sends 8* + monsters that Recommend Grade 8 or 9 gear, but REQUIRE Grade 10 to actually defeat, while all gear is stuck at Grade 7-/5 because it requires multiple Tier 6 pieces that only drop from 8*+ monsters (in theory), BUT those 8*+ monsters only drop 2* drops.
Maybe this game works properly in Japan, or even Asia as a whole, but outside it is pure garbage. No bases. No necessary items in drops. Just beggin for real money while cloggin storage with things that WILL be needed in copious amounts, but can’t be used.
Remeber that Japan fits inside of most countries in the world. Scale and plan the game accordingly.

なるほど確かにここ最近のモンスターは強いので★8を倒すのも容易ではない。
比較的弱いモンスターも変異の影響で狩れない可能性もある。
昔はモンスターの種類も少なく狩りやすいモンスターが大量に湧いたので竜玉が貯めやすかったが、
現状の環境だと新規の強すぎるモンスターで埋め尽くされて自力では倒せないモンスターばかりになりそう。
特にナウは無傷で倒さなければ永続した狩りができない仕様なので新規にとって厳しい環境かもしれない。
モンスター調査で狩りやすいモンスターを集めたモノを出すのはどうだろう？
I should probably apologize in advance for the silly comment I’m about to make.
But you might want to brush up on the Mercator projection just a tiny bit.
Japan isn’t that tiny, you know.
Joking aside, the truth is that, with the exception of a few tough foes, G7 weapons are more than sufficient to take on ★8 monsters, and if you participate in Dimensional Link and HAT, other veteran hunters will help you out.
Also, recently, rare 6 materials can be obtained through quest rewards and the exchange shop.
In the Monster Hunter series, player skill is extremely important.
If you think you need stronger equipment than what’s recommended, you should focus on learning the monsters’ movements and improving your own skills rather than simply seeking out more powerful gear.

100% agree, i was actually starting to get back into the game particularly because the discount event makes upgrading a weapon infinitly less bull, but i find it strange that the season 9 kickoff event quest would go from 5-6 stars to a 9 star on 7/8 even with a grade 9 5/5 weapon im running out of time assuming i dont get 1shot. Maybe if i could finish a gear set for it but the event will be well over before thats remotely realistic. And its solo…. So fun, let me time out and fail or die the second i miss an evade.
Global event quests that are not personalised are usually like that, in any game.
Players who joined the game and have not even unlocked 10-star map on their own are not expected to clear 10-star event urgent quests on their own. This is the same in any game you play that doesn’t personalise the difficulty to a player’s own progress, and… they’re pretty much everywhere you look.
There will always be something that’s out of reach for newer players, and sometimes even veterans also cannot reach for them because of whatever reason that placed them beyond the reach of completing the challenge. Live service games and MMOs are always like that.
It is okay to miss things, because it’s just how it is, just like real life is. Key thing is to focus on what can be done now and focus on the foundation for the long term, not the fleeting events that change by the week.
