Please prioritize an Exploration Base in the Flamboyant region. A safe, easy-to-find meeting point is the pedestrian promenade next to Flamboyant Shopping (locally known as the “Bobódromo”), approx. -16.710212, -49.236929. Passeio das Águas Shopping would be a strong second choice.
現状/Current Status
Goiânia (Goiás, Brazil) has ~1.5 million residents and an area of ~729 km², but only two Exploration Bases — and both are poorly placed:
One sits almost on top of a high-traffic avenue: no shade and not safe to stay at.
The other is in a public square that also lacks safety for players to gather.
Several of the busiest and safest gathering spots in the city have no base coverage at all:
Flamboyant Shopping — one of the most popular malls in the city, no base nearby.
Passeio das Águas Shopping — the largest mall in the city, also uncovered.
(Goiânia Shopping is the only major hub currently reachable, via the avenue base.)
This goes beyond convenience: as shown in “Summer Exchange Event Quests not accessible to players without a base,” players without a nearby base are locked out of event content. In a city this size, two badly placed bases exclude most of the local community.

- 極高的人流密度與玩家基數
朗屏站是元朗區的核心交通樞紐之一，每日有數以萬計的居民及通勤者經過。根據我們日常的觀察，不論是上下班繁忙時間還是週末，朗屏站附近隨時都能透過「附近有獵人」功能感應到大量熱情玩家。增設獵獵塔能完美對接高密度的玩家需求。 - 全天候的優質遊戲環境（天橋網絡）

Since the game’s launch, MHN has brought us immense joy through hunts with fellow local Hunters. To enhance the gameplay experience for our local community and bring players together, we would like to strongly recommend adding a permanent “Hunt-a-Thon / Elder Dragon Interception” point (the “Tower”) at or around Long Ping MTR Station.
Here are the key reasons supporting our suggestion:

High Foot Traffic and Large Player Base
Long Ping Station is a major transportation hub in the Yuen Long area, with tens of thousands of residents and commuters passing through daily. Based on our daily gameplay, we consistently detect a large number of active players via the “Hunters Nearby” feature during peak commuting hours and weekends. Adding a Tower here would perfectly meet the demand of this high-density player base. -
All-Weather Gaming Environment (Pedestrian Footbridge Network)
Long Ping Station is seamlessly connected to an extensive network of covered pedestrian footbridges (leading toward Yuen Long Plaza and Long Ping Estate). These footbridges provide excellent shelter from both the scorching summer sun and heavy rainfall. This allows Hunters to gather and hunt together safely and comfortably without disrupting public transit, perfectly aligning with Niantic’s core philosophy of encouraging safe outdoor exploration. -
Insufficient Density of Existing Towers
Compared to the neighboring Yuen Long Station or the main town center (Castle Peak Road), the distribution of Hunt-a-Thon Towers around Long Ping Station is relatively sparse. Players living around Long Ping, Tai Kiu, and Wang Fu Court often have to walk long distances to participate in Elder Dragon Interceptions, which limits the activity level of the local community. -
Boosting the Local Community and Economy
The station and its connected footbridges link to numerous local malls, markets, and diners. Adding a major hunting point would attract Hunters to stay around during weekends or Community Days, encouraging them to dine and shop locally, thereby creating a positive economic impact on the neighborhood.

Location Name: MTR Long Ping Station / Connected Pedestrian Footbridges
Suggested Landmarks (Existing POIs): Station public art pieces, commemorative plaques, or iconic structures on the footbridge intersections.
We firmly believe that adding a “Hunt-a-Thon” point at Long Ping Station will significantly boost player engagement in Yuen Long and provide a safe, comfortable, and vibrant gathering spot for the community. We sincerely hope the operations team will consider our proposal.

When rural players will be allowed to do RC monsters and get those rewards?

So first things first, I am lucky enough to have a base close enough to work that lets me do base defenses in my lunch break. Only that timeslot, but at least it’s not Impossible.
However, even I notice that as soon as I am on my way home, away from the city, there’s just no base around. Even with the increased range. And given from forum reports, there are even more rural areas that have it worse.
Instead of trying to add a bandaid in the way of increased access range, why not just allow hunters to access the closest base - no matter how far it is. That way everyone can enjoy the content in the game.
As it stands, I wouldn’t even know which way to go to be in base range, if I didn’t know about the ones near work. The button just tells you there are no bases close by. Not even where the closest one is.
If you really want to limit base access, please consider the idea floated by some that previously visited bases would stay accessible no matter how far. That way you have to visit once at least. But you would still be able to play the game in its entirety.
Please give our fellow rural hunters a way to play the game and earn rewards like the lucky citydwellers.
