問題の詳細/Issue Details

The invulnerability period for the Special Skill for Long Swords, Spirit Helm Breaker (SP), deactivates at different timing between activations.

I compared two instances of the SP and found the following:

If the videos are synchronised with the start of the fiery SP effect radiating from the hunter’s feet,

You can see that by the time the hunter unleashes the skill and lands on the ground, the hunter on the right is a few frames earlier than the hunter on the left. This suggests that the SP for the hunter on the right somehow became “earlier” than the hunter on the left.

But in the following screenshot observe that the red glow from the SP disappears from the hunter on the left first.

What if we synchronised the frames by the red glow on the hunter?

The hunter on the right obviously enters the attack sequence a few frames earlier than the hunter on the left.

But later on, observe that the glow on the hunter on the left disappears before the glow on the hunter on the right disappears.

Is it just because I was touching the screen for the hunter on the left? Shouldn’t the timing be standardised for SP skills regardless of other conditions?

(I got hit in the hunt on the left, but I don’t think the SP would have saved me from the tail anyway, given how much later the tail swipe was in the hunt on the left compared to the hunt on the right, but this led me to investigate and found out about this discrepancy. While it may not have served me in this particular hunt, it may affect other players who depended on precise timing in order to execute their strategy, and if they fail just because of uncontrollable variables that are expected to be the same every time, this doesn’t seem fair.)
