I think it would be a huge advantage to be able to add people who are in the list of local base contributions to your friends list.
I am hoping to build a local community via Campfire, but that is currently impossible without being able to add the people I can see locally playing so that they can show up on my list of invitable people.
現状/Current Status
Community building is impossible when players are not able to see there are other players to join. The event sign up is nice in theory, but nobody who is playing locally ever registers because of the lack of connection to other players.
I am a Pokemon Go Community Ambassador and in my experience, Campfire would help that a lot, but there is currently no way to add visible local players who contribute to a base.
